DELICIOUS DAYS!
After Christmas and New Year’s, January has lots of delectable days! Three indulgences are commemorated during the month, each with its own special designated day. Big Island Candies honors these timeless national treats/treasures, every day:
National Shortbread Day (January 6): This one is especially close to our heart. Our line of Signature Shortbreads includes, the following, and so much more:
- Our award-winning Milk Chocolate Dipped Macadamia Nut Shortbread.
- Our Two-In-One Shortbread – Chocolate Layer Combo is made up of our original Macadamia Nut Shortbread and classic Chocolate Macadamia Nut Shortbread, together in one cookie! And then comes the layer of milk or dark chocolate along the bottom of the cookie.
- These tropical-inspired flavors to enjoy and share: Coconut, Kona Mocha, and Pineapple!
National English Toffee Day (January 8): Our Hawaii-based take on the classic confection is our Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nut Toffee.
National Pie Day (January 23): Our frozen pies (Apple Pie; Peach Pineapple Pie) are made with a golden, buttery, flaky crust and an abundant amount of flavorful filling. Available again soon, stay tuned: They can be purchased in our Hilo and Ala Moana Center stores, or ordered from our website and shipped frozen throughout Hawaii and the continental U.S., during select times of the year.
