DELICIOUS DAYS!

After Christmas and New Year’s, January just keeps the “holidays” going! Four iconic indulgences are commemorated during the month, each with its own special designated day. Here’s how Big Island Candies honors these timeless national treats/treasures, every day:

National Shortbread Day (January 6): This one is especially close to our heart. Our line of Signature Shortbreads includes our award-winning Milk Chocolate Dipped Macadamia Nut Shortbread, as well as ones with a Milk Chocolate Layer or a Dark Chocolate Layer on the bottom, even island-inspired flavors: Pineapple; Coconut; Kona Mocha, and more!

National Blonde Brownie Day (January 22): Although these are not like the traditional blonde brownies, this day always calls to mind our Golden Macadamia Nut Brownies, Lemon Brownies, and Passion Fruit Mochi Brownie. Whether it features chocolate, or no chocolate, we’ve got lots of bright ideas when it comes to brownies!

National Pie Day (January 23): Our frozen Apple Pie is made with a golden, buttery, flaky crust and an abundant amount of flavorful filling. Available at our Hilo and Ala Moana Center stores, it can also be ordered from our website, and shipped frozen throughout Hawaii and the continental U.S., during select times of the year (stay tuned). It’s a slice of heaven from Hilo!
