Big Island Candies first started out in 1977 in a small warehouse on Maka‘ala Street in Hilo, Hawaii, as a manufacturer of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. And now, almost 45 years later, we’re so happy that these chocolates are still part of our family of products.
Easily recognized as a symbol of the kind of delicious bliss that Hawaii offers, these chocolates have become a go-to gift, a dependable classic regardless of the decade. Our product line has expanded well beyond the timeless milk chocolate macadamia nut variety. For example:
