Macadamia Nut Shortbread – Dark Chocolate Dipped

I was born and raised in HI, and Big Island Candies shortbread has ALWAYS been the go-to for guaranteed delicious omiyage. If anyone came to visit - relatives from Japan, friends from the mainland - I would always say to go to BIC and grab some stuff to take home with them. When I go to the mainland, I always bring a bunch with me (to pass out and make friends, ya know)! The cookie is baked perfectly and the chocolate is absolutely decadent. You can tell they use the most high-quality ingredients and really put a lot of love and effort into the quality of the cookies (and pretty much everything else at BIC)! These cookies keep very well at room temp and the chocolate does not get white/weird even when temperatures change with the seasons. They are good to keep in the refrig and taste awesome no matter when you decide to eat them! This is one of the best choco-dipped shortbreads you will ever eat!
